There are a couple of anachronisms and certainly parts left out. Know that it's not because I'm unaware, but rather because either it didn't fit artistically or (more likely) I simply didn't have the material. Also a few parts might have a little bit worse quality, that's simply because I had to re-encode several shots in order for them to work and so the quality suffered a bit. Audio from Imme...

Apparantly there are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand found on every beach and in every desert on this planet. Actually about 4 times as many. The universe is probably teaming with life.

Mankind is suffering from the worst known case of Main Character Syndrome. We have such an inflated sense of self-importance that we've forgotten the most profound fact of all - the universe is everything that's ever existed, and it's in us. Why set ourselves apart from the universe when we can embrace our part in it and try to use our brief moments of consciousness to learn more about it?

Here we have another atheist fumbling along with theology, of which he knew nothing about. After all, Carl agrees with the Catholic priest who concocted the Big Bang on a blackboard in the last century. And since there are only 2 explanations available to the whole world, the Big Bang or God created all things, Carl opted for the Catholic priest... who is dead and buried, by the way, while the Living God who created the universe and everything in it, is alive. Next, Carl defaults to being the off-spring of the monkey. There is no 3rd choice. Either God made man or the monkey made man from the non-living elements exploding out of the Catholic Big Bang. That makes atheism a part of the Catholic religion. And atheists call theists stupid. Theists didn't evolve from the monkey.

@@philplace2726 Sagan was a hard core atheist and failure to science. Material does not come from nowhere but these "scientists" never tell us precisely where the material of the universe came from... it merely exploded as the Catholic priest devised the Big Bang Theory which became universally accepted by the atheists. The gist is to remove the Living God from Creation. Darwin comes along and claims humans came from monkey's. This too is not science, not biology or even remotely possible to produce life from material to even produce a monkey. It's been tried and it failed. Notice that on the Periodic Table there is no "life" element and the Elements found in the human body are not alive in and of themselves, otherwise, you will never die any more than a shovel full of dirt will ever die. Sagan and his disciples are nothing more than Antichrists as is those who agree with him.

I find it ironic that bible bellievers tell us that humility is a virtue, toi be "humble"...but they believe that their almighty, all knowing god made the whole cosmos just for them - and heaven and hell as well. That this all-knowing being wants to be friends with each and every one of us, that he wants to hear what we say in our prayers (despite already knowing everything we have or ever will say), that he needs our adoration and worship, and that he concerns himself as to whther some teenager in the Bronx is sneaking a look at mom's underwear catalogues.

While Carl Sagan may not claim unequivocal supremacy among scientists throughout history, his distinction as a consummate orator remains unassailable. His eloquent exposition of the scientific method stands as the apogee of rhetorical finesse. Sagan possesses a singular prowess in unwinding the layers of superstition enshrouding the human mind, leaving an indelible impact on the collective psyche. His discourses serve as an ethereal catalyst, gracefully dispelling the veils of superstition and revealing the inherent magnificence of science. In a manner that eludes even the loftiest literary aspirations of Shakespeare, Sagan's articulate expressions possess an emotive resonance, capable of evoking tears and establishing a profound connection with the audience.

All the mystery for thinking People. I Am on the side of that Tribe that agrees there is an underlying Creator to me, that I will Die into, and will Enlighten Me. I may be wrong. (And would love to live as a Scientific NIHILIST, But I Can't). So, Ergo, Wherego? Certainly not the Monotheistic religions as REVEALED TRUTH. I see those for people who don't think deeply. But, better to be a Somali farmer than a Josef Goebbels, n'est pas? So, After 40 years of Searching the best that makes sense is Vedanta Philosophy. And, btw, I have that same Hubble Picture in my House in front of me as I write this. Pascal said, "The Silence of these Infinite Spaces Frightens Me"; I, Actually have the reverse reaction. Save a little hope for purpose and meaning, however humbled; we are naturally on a mission of exploration and the compilation of knowledge, with the good will and commitment of others, built upon the tree of knowledge and upon the tree of life. We may be no less than nor no greater than all of the other things in this universe, yet we are predestined to grow, understand, and comprehend both individually and collectively the universe wherein we reside. If by breaking the shells of the eggs of our past, we are not smaller, but rather growing into a larger being, the invisible hand reaching into the heavens and beyond. ✨ 🌃 🔭 🚀 🌌
